on economy 7 rates it was 12.6p per unit normal, 5.9p between midnight and 8am I also had a third rate of 9.4p per unit for hot water at any time of the day.
So really not much as I don’t know anyone who would sit up till after midnight to get some washing done.

I’m thinking of getting a treadmill and before I get one I want to know if it’s probably going to make my electric bill high. Also, what brand treadmill would you recommend?
No, treadmills run off a very simplistic motor
you shouldn’t see any change to your power bill at all, even if you use it 2 hours a day
the big consumers in your house are
heating, cooling, water heater, and tube televisions
I have recently moved to the UK and it seems that I could get my hot water by using by gas boiler or by using the usual electric switch.
what is cheaper & better?
it really depends on the rates you are being charged for each of the service’s.
on one hand gas will be there even if you have a power outage, but even at that you still have electricity to engage the valve and the burners,to me you get about the same recovery time from either,so i guess i would make my choice from the local rates, hope this helps
