If people are complaining about high electric bills, why are they putting up so many Christmas lights on?

outside their houses I mean what about their electrical bills, aren’t they going to rise if you have that many Christmas lights on?

It would be very miserable if everyone stopped putting up Christmas lights because of the electricity prices! "Tis the season to be jolly"… and all that =)

    Not if you use the L.E.D ones, they use way less energy.

    I asked the same Q of a neighbour and he informed me that lights displayed outside houses do not use very much electricity.

    THank you and I think the same thing at night when I walk my dog. These people must have money to burn.It does look nice, but my goodness how much must the bill cost for the month.
